A Faith That Does Justice

An Update on the Caravan & Asylum Seekers

TODAY Tuesday, January 8th

6:30pm

Since October 26, immigration authorities have been vetting families seeking asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border and releasing them on San Diego streets with no money, resources or transportation. These families are fleeing violence, suffering, and persecution in their home countries. From October 26 to late December, more than 3,200 asylum seekers have been provided shelter, access to resources, and help contacting their sponsors.

A panel will provide the latest information on how San Diegans have responded to the Tijuana/San Diego border crisis and what you can do to help.
