NAIN Connect Digital Conference
NAIN Connect will be part of the Interfaith Awareness Week
and will sponsor a Digital conference on Monday, April 12th.
Proposals for the conference are now being accepted.
Please read below for details.
Call for Proposals
The theme of NAIN’s first Digital Connect is:
‘Interfaith Community in a Polarized World.’
We are seeking workshop proposals that will address this theme and engage an on-line audience. Polarization can be addressed from any number of angles. You may be part of an exciting program that is facilitating dialogue between diverse groups, or working to facilitate listening and understanding, exploring the role of compassion, forgiveness or curiosity in relating to the Other, or examining the role of identity in conflict. We want to hear about it.
The Connect will take place on August 12th starting at 9:00 am PDT, 10:00 MDT, 11:00 CDT, 12:00 EDT and 1:00 ADT. It will be three hours in duration.
Workshops will be 1 hour long and size will be limited at registration
in order to facilitate participation. Preference will be given to workshops
that seek to engage online participants in the discussion .
We hope to include presentations from Canada, the US and Mexico
Presenters will receive free registration to the Connect.
For information about how NAIN has addressed the issue of polarization see http://www.nain.org/our-piece-of-peace.html
Please send your submission to Lynda Trono firstname.lastname@example.org
by May 17.
