U.S. Assault on Palestine: Implications and Responses

Sunday, January 27

2:00pm

Speakers:

Lara Kiswani, Executive Director Arab Resource and Organizing Committee

Seif Da’na, Professor of Sociology University of Wisconsin, Parkside

“The Trump administration is engaged in an all-out attack on Palestine and Palestinians. Moving the US embassy to Jerusalem cutting funding to UNRWA, closing the PLO office in Washington, the ‘deal of the century’ that requires Palestinians to give up everything for nothing in return, are all part of a US approach that is having dire consequences. These are all components of an overall strategy that has already had severe implications for the region and that presents serious challenges for those working on the issues of justice and self-determination.”
